As someone who spends a lot of time focused on the mind and spirit parts of the "Mind, Body, Spirit" trilogy (intuitive work, creative projects, life coaching, etc) I have been known to take for granted the all too important physical aspect of my existence and like many of us, have a long and complicated history with the health of my physical body. I love my body and I know that without it functioning properly and well, I couldn't do all that I do. But I'm not always so good about showing my body that I love it.  When I found myself starting over in my life (divorce and a move) and facing the challenges of being a single mom, I decided that once the dust had settled and I was securely rooted into my new life, I'd take a closer look at my physical health and make IT a priority. When I was ready to dip my toes back into the dating world, I sat down and made a list of what I wanted in my future mate. The first thing on the list was that he had to be healthy, take care of himself (mind/body/spirit) and that he'd encourage the same in me and would not influence me into bad habits - only good ones. Well, the Universe answered me with Dr. Steve!
